When I moved to Nevada in late 2017, I set out writing my next book (at least to be published, several more set for 2019 that are longer projects!) to wedge myself in my new beer community. The book is here and will hit shelves on Dec. 10. The first signing is at Henderson's Lovelady Brewing on Dec. 10, Dec. 15 at Hop Nuts Brewing and Dec. 16 at Boulder City Brewing. Aquinas College's lifelong learning program asked me to teach a class about the past and present of the beer industry.

Finished out 2016 Grand Rapids Public Library's History Detectives program, speaking about the history of beer in Grand Rapids and where the industry is headed. 

Once prior to James Fallows coming to Grand Rapids to speaking at a World Affairs Council event, I emailed him and asked to meet. We did. A few months later I sent him a copy of my book and he mentioned it in a post titled "Books by friends."

Grand Rapids entertainment magazine Revue profiled me and Grand Rapids Beer.

While working at the Mitten Brewing Company, local website The Rapidian featured Evans as a community innovator.
